I’m available to teach in-studio and outdoors, and especially for events and retreats. Let me know what you’re looking for!
I teach an accessible Hatha-style yoga class.
What does that mean?
It means the class is slow-paced and accessible to those with and without yoga experience. It is not intimidating. It is not fast-paced. We don’t do chaturangas, arm balances, headstands, or anything extreme. It is not a cardio workout. It is not hot yoga.
It is light-hearted, fun, relaxing, and warming. It is a little strengthening and a lot of stretching. We do deep breathing and some longer held restorative poses. We will practice on mats, so you have to be able to get on and off the ground. If you can’t do a tree pose, it’s okay, we only do it for the fun of it!
What poses should you expect?
Variations of cat-cow, down dog, plank pose (only 1 or 2!), lots of side bends and neck and shoulder stretches, seated and supine hip stretches, a tree pose if the mood is right, and a few standing poses. I teach based on your requests and the vibe of the class. I give a lot of modifications.
You will leave feeling like you got into all the tight areas in your body with a lightness from all the deep breathing.
Upcoming Events:
In-studio yoga at Village Pilates in Bruceton Mills, WV and OmBody in Uniontown, PA:
Private Yoga:
Private yoga is designed for one or two individuals who have a specific goal or focus they would like to achieve. This class is tailored to the individual and will include tips and personalized feedback. It is a breath-led movement with stress-relieving benefits, and without a spiritual element. If you’re going to do a 2-person private session, you must have the same goal or focus you want to achieve.
Select your goal:
- I play hard outside, biking, boating, running, climbing, etc., and my outdoor activities are my main mode of fitness. I need a yoga routine to help me recover and balance my body to avoid injury and improve my fitness level. I could use more flexibility and strength.
- I want to learn a simple yoga routine I can do at home that isn’t a workout, but a warm-up, a midday reset, or a cool down for the day. I need to feel less tension in my body and more mobility overall.
- I’m a beginner and want to learn how to be safe in a yoga class because I feel I lack flexibility, strength, coordination, or all of the above. I want to learn how to pace my breath with movement, modifications of poses, and tips that would help me struggle less.
- Other – please explain what your goal is for this class.

This is an instructor-led class focusing on breath with movement and is appropriate for beginners or those with no yoga experience. It is not spiritually based; rather, it is stress-relieving and will leave your body and mind feeling refreshed and happy!
